Ups & Downs

As the ‘business end’ of the season approaches, more and more teams in the Barclays Premier League are either fighting for survival or battling to win the title. As it happens, the trophy already appears to be on it’s way to Old Trafford, however there are plenty of other teams still desperate to secure the points that will either guarantee them European football next season, or prevent them from being relegated to the Championship, a league which has proven notoriously hard to get back out of.

For me, this past weekend saw both ends of the spectrum, as Everton hosted all-but-gone Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, before Champions-elect Manchester United travelled to Stoke City the next day, a team flirting dangerously with the bottom three…
