Happy New Year!

I clocked up far, far too many miles over the festive period…roughly 1,300, in fact, over the course of little more than a week. It started in Manchester on Boxing Day and took me on a round trip via Nantwich, Torquay, Southampton, back to Torquay, then on to Swindon and then Hertford before returning to Nantwich. After spending New Year’s Eve with some of our best friends in Cheshire, my 2015 began back at my closest Premier League ground, the Britannia Stadium, where Manchester United were the visitors to Stoke’s chilly hilltop fortress.

The traditional New Year’s Day league fixtures were followed up by four days of FA Cup action, all of which threw up some alternative pictures for me at the start of the new year…
