“More Fingers Than Points!”

The Leicester City juggernaut is taking no prisoners. As Claudio Ranieri’s side continue to brush aside their opponents, more and more people are beginning to realise they really could win this year’s Premier League title. December’s doubters are turning into March’s maybes – it’s the most exciting season for years, and for the neutral observer, it’s just what we wanted.

I’m convinced Leicester’s fans play a huge part in their side’s success too. The stadium may not be much to look at – a Meccano-esque ground seemingly built with help from little more than a set of flat-pack instructions – but regardless, the noise generated inside more than makes up for what it lacks in aesthetic character. The fans are full of energy, full of song, and give it their all for the entire 90 minutes. It’s a joy to behold.

I’ve found myself at the King Power Stadium a few times recently, as well as my usual haunts across the north west and beyond. I’ve even taken a few pictures along the way…
